Bury Lions Club was formed back in 1967, by local businessmen and friends, to serve a need that was felt by many in the Bury area.

Our aim is to create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs, by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.

Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world, the 1.35 million members of our volunteer organisation in 206 countries and geographic areas are different in many ways, but we all share a core belief - community is what we make of it.
